- Internship at Spliethoff (Dutch): Every year we offer interns the opportunity to complete their internship on board our ships. You qualify for an internship if you have qualifications for Maritime Officer, Officer or Mechanic (MBO BOL 4 / HBO). The opportunities include - An internship on modern ships in a worldwide sailing area with large variety of cargo (including heavy cargo). The participants also receive guidance by 2 mentors on board and extensive information and preparation for signing up the program.
- Summer Job at Spliethoff (Dutch): Maritime Officer, Officer or Mechanic (MBO BOL4 / HBO) students are offered summer jobs every year. This means that you can be placed on one of the worldwide sailing vessels during the summer holidays which include a few weeks of sailing, working, learning and living on a Spliethoff ship.
- Foreign Personnel: Spliethoff Amsterdam is a Dutch company and by law the vessels need to be manned by Dutch officers as much as possible. However, due to the recent fast growth of the Dutch fleet there is a shortage of Dutch officers and an increasing demand for officers of different nationality. Your certificates that are, or will be, (up to finishing your education) issued by your government should be in full compliance with the STCW Convention.
- Seagoing Jobs: Spliethoff has vacancies for seafarers with complete licence and certificates and a positive recent medical test. You also have a good command of the English language.
