Land Based Jobs
- Shipping Trainee: Clipper offers a high-profile two-year shipping trainee program at our Copenhagen office. The program also supports the overall development of the maritime sector.The shipping trainee program allows trainees to obtain qualifications in the key areas of shipping - chartering and operations, combined with knowledge of other parts of the shipping business. The program combines industry-based theory and on-the-job training in key departments. The theoretical training, conducted in English, is delivered through the Commercial Shipping Program conducted by Danish Shipping Academy, which is a part of Danish Shipowners’ Association. Classes include maritime law, maritime economics, ship knowledge, cultural awareness, negotiation and communication. Alongside the Danish Shipping Academy, the trainees also complete a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at Copenhagen Business School.
