Supply Chain Management Education, Work Study Programs and Continuing Education Training at Republic Poly in Singapore
Established in 2002, the Republic Polytechnic (RP) received its first intake of over 800 students in July 2003 at its Tanglin Campus. It has moved to its permanent campus in Woodlands since March 2006 and supports 14,000 students. One of the first things that is noticeable about the RP campus is that there is no fence separating the community from the students - movement and interaction are almost seamless.
The RP campus was designed to encourage students to take the learning outside of the classrooms into the halls, the library, the cultural and sports facilities, and even the community. RP offers unique courses that are not available elsewhere. RP specialises in technology for the arts, sports, health and leisure courses.
The first educational institution in Singapore to adopt the Problem-Based Learning approach for all its diploma programs, Republic Polytechnic has six schools and one centre offering 38 courses in Engineering, Applied Science, Information and Communications Technology, Technology for the Arts, Sports, Health & Leisure, Hospitality and Culture and Communication, and Innovation and Enterprise.

Academic & Training Programs
Full-Time Diploma Programs
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management (DSCM) (3 years): You will develop highly sought after skills that will enable you to efficiently manage the movement of goods, information and finances along the entire supply chain. Through this course, you will also understand the individual roles that suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers play. As a DSCM graduate, you can build dynamic careers at all levels of the supply chain across a wide range of industries. You will participate in a 20-week internship program with companies such as DHL, NTUC FairPrice, Schneider Electric, ST Logistics, and UPS.. DSCM graduates also have the opportunity to sign up for a work-study program.
Work Study Programs
- Specialist Diploma in Supply Chain Management (1 year, Weekend): This course aims to equip participants with specialized knowledge and skills in the field of supply chain management, including warehouse and inventory management, transportation operations and freight services, lean process, pharmaceutical and bio-chemical supply chain, and cold chain management and etc. Participants will gain hands-on experience in simulation software, TradeNet application, Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP System, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), cold chain packaging and equipment, and Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID).
