RYA Sailing Practical & Theory Training Programs for Adults, Families and Ladies in Jolly Harbour, Antigua
Located at Jolly Harbour, St. John’s in Antigua Second Star Sailing School is a RYA Training Centre and offers offer the complete RYA Yachtmaster (Sail) Scheme. All courses from Competent Crew to Yachtmaster, as well as Power Boat courses, are available, in a fabulous setting with fantastic sailing conditions.
Located as we are in the heart of the Caribbean Island chain, multiple choices for visiting the many islands to the north and south are available. They also provide female only sailing courses, cruising, racing, & mile building in Antigua. From the base in Jolly Harbour, you can explore the island and some of its 365 beaches during your week of sailing.
For those on a Coastal Skipper course or Cruising charter, they might also visit the neighboring islands of Barbuda, St. Kitts, Nevis or St. Barths. Grenada and Martinique are common destinations during Milebuilder and other events.
From Jolly Harbour the school also offers day cruises, sunset sails, as well as vacations for singles, families and friends, yoga & sail retreats, as well as special events. They also participate in Caribbean Season’s Regattas, from Grenada Sailing Week to the fabulous RORC 600 Caribbean, the Heineken St. Maarten and St. Barths, to name a few.

Ondeck is a NauticEd approves center for practical on-the-water training for the NauticEd online sailing courses. Take online theory sailing courses with NauticEd, then use the skilled in-house sailing instructors to gain practical sailing experience and confidence. Once you pass the courses and practical training, you'll be awarded with a NauticEd Sailing Certification with Verified Practical Competency.
