Established in 2011 and located at Piraeus, Glyfada, Chios, and Kalymnos in Greece, GMC Maritime Training Center provides a wide range of maritime training programs for the shipping industry in Greece. With two key locations, GMC courses are available to shipping companies and seafarers in the region and beyond. The courses are in accordance and continually updated to reflect latest IMO, STCW, ISM, TMSA, TOTS, International Standards and Practices for proper implementation.

GMC is approved as an authorized training center to conduct maritime training courses on behalf of the Cyprus Flag, Malta, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Liberia Bureau of Maritime Affairs & the Bahamas Maritime Authority under the STCW 1978 Convention as amended.

GMC is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 by ABS Quality Evaluations Headquarters Houston and ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) regarding the design, development and provision of training courses, provision of IMO Model courses and related to STCW and ILO requirements.
