Located in Piraeus, Greece, ALS Hellenic Maritime Training Center is a maritime training institution and offers a wide range of courses and programs for individuals seeking to pursue a career in the maritime industry or enhance their skills as maritime professionals, such as deck officers, marine engineers, and Maritime Security personnel. The center offers courses in various areas of maritime training, including navigation, seamanship, Maritime Safety, marine engineering, and Maritime Law.
The experienced instructors use modern teaching methods, simulations, and practical exercises to ensure that students receive practical, hands-on training that prepares them for real-world maritime challenges. ALS Hellenic Maritime Training Center is also equipped with advanced training facilities, including simulators, navigation equipment, and engineering workshops, that allow students to gain practical experience in a safe and controlled environment.
The Training Center offers a range of comprehensive courses needed to upgrade the knowledge, skills and competences of Seafarers, all whilst maintaining compliance with the amended STCW ’78 (including Manila Amendments 2010), SOLAS, MARPOL 73/78, and MLC provisions. Also ALS carries the approval of various Flag State Administrations, thus providing endorsed certification of training and operating under ISO 9001:2015 approved by Bureau Veritas and accredited by UKAS.
