Located in Port Isabel, Texas, Kelley Maritime Training Center offers basic and advanced hands-on and classroom training that will; prepare mariners to assume responsibilities as a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain; support and encourage recreational boating safety; and provide fleet owners with the resources needed to ensure compliance and enhance safety of their crews and boats.
The center provides four U.S. Coast Guard approved courses of instruction, taught by USCG-approved instructors. Each USCG course is approved as a substitute for and satisfies the exam requirement of the applicable license or endorsement. They provide all books and materials needed for all of the courses.
