Established in 1923 and home to more than 15,000 students, Lamar University (LU) is a public university in Beaumont, Texas and member of The Texas State University System. Undergraduate Programs
- BS in University Studies - Supply Chain Management (On Campus): Our degree program combines a structured program of study with the flexibility to customize the student's educational experience. Students can apply up to 90 hours of prior university coursework toward the degree, and, of those 90 hours, the degree can accommodate up to 27 hours of related technical credit. Graduates with a B.S. in University Studies – Supply Chain Management are equipped with the knowledge and skillset to solve today's complex challenges in logistics, warehousing, purchasing, manufacturing and procurement.

- MBA with Concentration in Port management (On Campus & Online): This concentration offers industry-relevant curriculum taught by Business and Engineering College faculty augmented by experts in the field, which can help accelerate your career path in the dynamic port and marine terminal operating industry. Courses in this program give you a deeper understanding of core business disciplines along with the skills necessary to lead and manage in this sector. Subject covered include - International Trade and economics, logistics, legal issues, strategic and capital planning, operations, safety and Security, as well as management, competitive positioning, leadership and team building.
- MS in Port and Terminal Management (Online): The port and marine terminal operating industry has long sought an advanced degree in port and marine terminal management. The wide and dynamic array of skills and knowledge required to manage today’s and tomorrow’s port and marine terminal require diverse and industry relevant curriculum. As a result, industry engagement in all courses is critical, with courses regularly updated in order to continue to reflect advances in industry management requirements.This program is for working professionals in the public port and private marine terminal industry seeking to enhance career growth potential in roles of increasing management responsibility. It is also useful for professionals in related industries, as well as continuing students, who seek a career in port and marine terminal management.
