Founded in 1994, the Hof University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Hof), is a public vocational university with campuses located in Hof and Munchberg, Bavaria, Germany. Hof University offers a wide range of study programs in Business & Economics, Engineering and Computer Science on undergraduate and graduate level. On offer are 28 bachelor and master degree programs in Business, Computing and Engineering.
Hof University’s three research institutes of Hof University concentrate on information systems, materials science and water and energy management. Exchange agreements exist between the partner universities. It is also possible to study at Hof University of Applied Sciences within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program in English or German.
With over 3,500 students, Hof University also offers several programs entirely taught in English. Hof University offers a modern study environment on a very green campus (awarded as - Germany’s most beautiful campus - (unicum) in 2012). With small student groups, Hof University was the first Bavarian State University to achieve the highest level of accreditation in Germany (system accreditation).
- MSc in Supply Chain Management / Logistics (Hof Campus, German, 1.5 years): The goal of this program is to prepare students for assuming management tasks in logistics. This degree program therefore focuses on conveying this interface know-how from both the business and the technical point of view and combines it to an overall concept. Due to this integrated concept graduates of the Master’s degree program are enabled to assume management tasks in logistics (senior level).
- The program is designed to take three semesters and basic knowledge in logistics and IT are required.
- Admission Requirements: First degree at a state-recognized institution of higher education (area: Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Systems) with the overall grade 2,5 or better; special professional qualification and additional practical experience can result in a grade improvement of 0.5 or First degree with 210 ECTS or 180 ECTS with additional training (can be executed in Hof); proof of basic knowledge in logistics and data processing
Summer School Program
- Production and Supply Chain Management (3 weeks): This course gives you a holistic understanding of a supply chain and the concepts of lean production and production 4.0. The program combines lectures with practical examples and excursions to industry and logistic companies. In addition to this academic course content there are numerous opportunities to experience German culture through a cultural and leisure program.
