Undergraduate and Masters Degree Programs in Logistics & Supply Chain Management in Fulda, Germany

Established in 1974, Fulda University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Fulda) covers a broad spectrum of academic & professional education including short-term and summer programs and located in Fulda in southwest Germany. All study programs lead to an international bachelor’s or master’s degree, and based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The University has a pleasant campus, with attractive buildings grouped around a central plaza.

With over 8000 students and 1000 international students from more than 100 countries, Fulda University offers a wide range of different programs, including short-term and summer programs, semester and academic year exchange programs, full-time degree programs, international Master’s programs and preparatory programs, as well as a career service for international students.

University students at the university can now obtain state-accredited Bachelor, Master, and, also Doctoral degrees. The Departments of Applied Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Business, Food Technology, Nursing and Health Sciences, Nutrition, Food and Consumer Sciences, Social and Cultural Sciences and Social Work teach numerous first-degree programs, graduate programs and other educational offerings.

Academic Programs

Bachelors Degree Program

  • BA in Logistics Management (6 semesters, Sandwich Program in German, partly English): The aim of the degree program is to provide students with a broad and integrated knowledge and understanding of the scientific basis of logistics management and its business administrative principles, and to enable them to apply these for known and new responsibilities in logistics.
  • Sandwich Program: In the campus-based program with in-company training in Logistics Management, periods of study alternate with periods of professional practice every 13 weeks for the duration of the compulsory six-semester program. It is therefore recommended that applications to partner companies be made in advance to ensure a training agreement is concluded in time.
  • Admissions Requirements: University entrance qualification and a study agreement with a partner company of the university (a partner company is one which has signed a cooperation agreement with Fulda University of Applied Sciences for the campus-based program with in-company training in Logistics Management). Alternatively, work placement agreements with companies or research facilities which assure completion of all work experience modules within six semesters are conceivable.

Masters Degree Program

  • MA in Supply Chain Management (3 semesters, German, English): The aim of the degree program is to provide you with knowledge of the different aspects, concepts, methods, and tools of supply chain management and to give you the opportunity to apply this knowledge in known and new managerial duties in supply chain management and logistics.
  • Admissions Requirements: A higher education qualification (bachelor’s, German Diplom) with at least 180 credits, preferably in Economics and Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Law, Social and Cultural Studies, or an equivalent degree programme at a university abroad. Bachelor’s degrees from academies for cooperative education fulfill the admission requirements provided they have been taken in Economics and Business Administration, Logistics Management, or Supply Chain Management. Applicants must provide proof ofa sound grounding in economics and business administration and logistics or must attend an advanced education and training course.
