Established in 1971, the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Osnabrück) is the largest university of applied science located in Osnabrück and Lingen, Germany. The university is a member of the University Alliance UAS7. In this consortium, seven universities of applied sciences from all over Germany cooperate to advance their international orientation. The university offers over 110 Bachelor's, Master's and advanced training programs.

With over 13000 students, the university provides comprehensive education programs through its four faculties - Agricultural Sciences and Landscape Architecture, Engineering and Computer Science, Management, Culture and Technology in Lingen, as well as Business Management and Social Sciences. And the Institute of Music forms the backbone of the university at the two locations in Osnabrück and Lingen.


The Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences (WiSo) is the largest faculty of the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences with more than 5,000 students and 34 Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. The course offering ranges from Business Administration and Management to Health and Social Affairs, international degree programs and Public Management and Business Law.

Master Degree Program

  • Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) (German, English, 3 years): The extra-occupational master‘s degree program International Supply Chain Management is jointly offered by the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, the Münster University of Applied Sciences and the Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Enschede). The aim of this degree program is to provide professionals and executives with a high expertise in all areas of supply chain management. The students are prepared to face complex business challenges in international logistics management and develop their personal competencies in intercultural communication and team leadership.
  • Accreditation: Bi-national accreditation with the ZEvA (Germany) and the NVAO (Netherlands) Quality Seal.
  • The lectures take place at all three university campuses with first and second semester available at all universities. 3rd semester is available at Saxion University of Applied Sciences and Münster University of Applied Sciences. 4th semester is available at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and Münster University of Applied Sciences. 5th semester classes is available at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and Münster University of Applied Sciences as well as an additional foreign university (block week) and 6th semester Master Thesis location is of student’s choice.
