Located in Piraeus, Greece, S.Ranis - Piraeus Maritime Training Center (PMTC) is an educational establishment providing maritime education and training (MET) to ship officers, crews and shipping companies. Based in the Piraeus shipping hub, with more than 40 years at maritime education and training, the PMTC is ISO 9001 certified by Bureau Veritas and runs a full list of professional training programs including STCW courses.

PMTC is accredited by the Maritime Authorities of Malta, Liberia, Panama, Marshall Islands, Honduras Cook Islands, Belize Saint Vincent, the Grenadines, which endorse and recognize PMTC certificates. The center can provide training for Panama Certificate of Proficiency for ratings

The Centre is accommodated in its own premises and is equipped by state of art training equipment such as the TRANSAS Full Mission Bridge/Maneuvering/ARPA CLASS A Simulator, Kongsberg’s Neptune Engine Room Simulator, GMDSS, TRANSAS Liquefied Cargo Handling and ECDIS (simulators. PMTC’s team of instructors comprises industry professionals carefully selected on the basis of theoretical as well as sea gained professional competence.
