Houston Marine Training Services is the complete training source for professional certification within the maritime industry. Established in 1972 to help applicants prepare for Coast Guard license examinations, Houston Marine has evolved with the rapidly changing regulatory environment. With the introduction of a Web-Based study program for Captain's Licenses, Houston Marine became the first marine training company to fully leverage the Internet in its training efforts. Additionally, thousands of individuals from all over the world attend courses at the Houston Marine International Training Center in New Orleans, Louisiana or one of the Authorized Training Centers located throughout the United States. 

Houston Marine is a division of the RelyOn Nutec (formerly Falck Safety Service) Group. At 46 training centers, in 17 countries, on five continents, Falck trains clients to recognize and prevent risks thereby contributing to building a safer, more efficient working environment. In U.S. Houston Marine operates training locations in 7 centers in LA and TX.

Houston Marine has served over 70,000 mariners and approximately 700 companies in 12 maritime segment, including offshore service vessels (OSV), inland towing, oceans and near coastal towing, offshore drilling, union companies, deep draft, passenger vessel, charter vessels, fishing vessels, Tankerman, government agencies, and marine associations.

Houston Marine's USCG Approved Courses provide relevant and realistic training meeting the demanding requirements of USCG licensing as well as the regulatory requirements of the Seafarers Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Code.
