Powerboat Training programs with ICC License & Super Yacht Crew Training in Altea, Spain
Located in Altea, Spain, Sea School Costa Blanca is a Royal Yachting Association Recognized Training Center. All our RYA courses are conducted in English. The courses are conducted in Club Nautico Altea, , El Portet Altea, , Portosenso and Greenwich Marina Altea. The courses are offered for the novices as well as experienced boaters.
The aim of the school is to give the skills and knowledge to safely and confidently handle powerboats. Average daily sunshine rarely dips below 6 hours per day. Rainfall is low and minimum daily temperatures 16 degrees C. Turquoise crystal-clear seas in the training area.
Powerboat training on the Costa Blanca is both affordable and accessible. Alicante airport is 35 mins away and airport pick up & drop off, accommodation arrangement are also provided. Should you wish to commercialize your powerboat level 2 certificate, the school help with the help of other RYA Training centers.

RYA Training Programs
- Powerboat Level 1: Introduction to powerboat handling. This Is a day course, provides you with the skills and knowledge to drive a powerboat under supervision.
- Powerboat Level 2 (2 days): Powerboat level 2 is the RYA’s most popular course. It caters for both novices and those that like to brush up their skills and obtain RYA Powerboat Level 2 in Spain. Instructor student ratio 1:3.
- International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft (ICC): An ICC is valid by those countries that have accepted UNCE resolution 40, for operators of their own craft or to charter one. Spain Portugal and Greece are not signatories of resolution 40, but do accept the ICC. Upon successful completion of your 2-day RYA Powerboat level 2 course, you will be able to apply for ICC powerboats till 10 meters.
- JET-SKI PWC License Spain: RYA Powerboat level 2 certificate and other RYA Powerboat Certificates plus ICC power are valid for Powerboats & Jet-Ski PWC in Spanish waters.
- Super Yacht Crew Training: Enhance your skill sets and career by attending a Royal Yachting Association Powerboat level 2 course. Be a deck hand, steward or stewardess or anyone within yacht crew industry.

- Own Boat Training: The school offers personalized tuition on your own boat, be it a Sports Powerboat, Rib or Motor Cruiser.
