STCW and USCG Approved Training programs for the Professional Mariners in Panama City FL
Located at Panama City FL, Maritime Institute of Technology provides United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved maritime training programs for the new aspirants as well as professional mariners in Florida area and throughout the country.
Apart from the training courses, Maritime Institute of Technology also helps students in submission of the application for license, certification and endorsements to the USCG.
They also provide training for the STCW certification in accordance with the USCG rules and regulations.
The programs run throughout the year and the institute also conducts bespoke classes for individuals and organizations.

- Basic First Aid, CPR, & AED (Non STCW) (4 hours): Meets USCG requirements for issuances of OUPV, 100 Ton & 200 Ton Licenses
- STCW Basic Training Original (5 days): Basic First Aid, Personal Survival Techniques, Basic Firefighting, and Personal Safety & Social Responsibility.
- STCW Basic Training Refresher (3 days): Personal Survival Techniques and Basic Firefighting - Must have 360 days of sea service in the last 5 years.
- Stability Exam Prep (5 days): Suitable for 500/1600 Masters, 2nd Mate Crossover, and Chief Mate Unlimited
- Leadership & Managerial Skills (4 days): Suitable for Master, Mates, and Chief Mates
- Celestial Navigation (10 days): Suitable for 200 GRT Mate through 2nd Mate Unlimited
